Switching from Loxo

What you can move to Symphonee today, how to export it from Loxo, and what stays behind.

Import Loxo people with a built-in preset, then review what stays behind.

Switching help included: we review your export with you and run a test import before you go live.

Creating an account starts a paid subscription you can cancel anytime.

Export from Loxo

  1. Open People in Loxo and select the records or the whole list.
  2. Use the export action to download a CSV.
  3. Before importing, make sure each email and phone cell holds a single value. Cells with several values are not split.

Import into Symphonee

In Symphonee, open People, choose Import, select Loxo as the spreadsheet source and drop the CSV.

What transfers

Name or first and last name, emails, phones, current_title, current_company, linkedin_url and location map automatically. Split name columns are combined into one name.

Known gaps

Notes, resumes on file, deal and pipeline data and tags do not transfer.

Accounts, jobs and CVs

Import CVs as PDF or DOCX in the same dialog to rebuild parsed profiles. Accounts import from a CSV of company names or websites, and jobs from a CSV with title, company, location and description columns or from job description files (PDF, DOCX or TXT).

After the import

  • Exact email or LinkedIn matches merge into the existing person. Likely duplicates are queued for your review instead of creating silent copies.
  • Columns Symphonee does not recognize are skipped rather than imported, so compare your headers with the list above before you import.
  • If you ever leave, you can export people, accounts, jobs, placements and history at no cost.
